Poison centre notification in Sweden

Sweden's PCN route is easy — ECHA Submission portal, Swedish or English, no fee, market access on validation — with the Swedish Poisons Information Centre (Giftinformationscentralen, part of the Medical Products Agency) as appointed body.
Like its Nordic neighbours, Sweden layers a national inventory on top: chemical products manufactured in or imported into Sweden at 100 kg or more per product per year must be notified to the Products Register at the Swedish Chemicals Agency (KemI), and registrants whose notifiable volume reaches 1,000 kg per year pay an annual chemical fee. The PCN and the Products Register are separate systems with separate deadlines.
What to watch for in Sweden
- Separate KemI Products Register duty at ≥100 kg/year per product; annual chemical fee at ≥1,000 kg/year.
- Swedish or English accepted.
- Appointed body is part of the Medical Products Agency (Läkemedelsverket).
