Poison centre notification in Slovakia

Slovakia modernised its framework with Act No. 109/2024 Z.z., applicable from 1 January 2025: the harmonised EU rules via the ECHA Submission portal fully replaced the earlier practice of sending mixture information directly to the National Toxicological Information Centre (NTIC) at University Hospital Bratislava.
Dossiers must be in Slovak — Slovakia requires its official language — but no fee applies and validation opens the market. NTIC remains the appointed body and poison-information service; the Ministry of Economy's Centre for Chemical Substances and Preparations publishes the CLP/UFI guidance.
What to watch for in Slovakia
- Act No. 109/2024 Z.z. aligned national law with the harmonised route from 1 Jan 2025.
- Slovak language required.
