Poison centre notification in Estonia
Verified against ECHA’s member state overview ·
Estonia keeps PCN compliance simple: the Health Board (Terviseamet) and its Poisoning Information Centre receive notifications exclusively through the ECHA Submission portal, in Estonian or English, with no national fee and no extra national product-notification scheme layered on top.
For safety data sheets aimed at the Estonian market, the emergency numbers to quote are the European 112 and the national poison line 16662 (+372 7943 794 from abroad) — the Health Board publishes the current SDS reference data in English.
What to watch for in Estonia
- No national extras: the harmonised PCN is the whole notification duty.
- Estonian or English accepted.
- SDS section 1.4 numbers: 112 and poison information line 16662.
The submission itself is the same in every member state that accepts the ECHA route: a PCN dossier in ECHA’s current format, carrying the mixture’s UFI, full composition, and product category.
