Poison centre notification in Denmark

Denmark's PCN route is frictionless — ECHA Submission portal, Danish or English accepted, no fee, market access on validation — but Denmark is one of the Nordic countries where the harmonised notification is only half the paperwork.

Separately from Article 45, products handled commercially in quantities above 100 kg per year generally must be registered in the Danish Product Registry through the Danish Working Environment Authority. The two systems do not talk to each other: a complete PCN does not register the product nationally, and vice versa. Companies scaling into Denmark should plan both filings.

The submission itself is the same in every member state that accepts the ECHA route: a PCN dossier in ECHA’s current format, carrying the mixture’s UFI, full composition, and product category.
