Poison centre notification in Czech Republic

The Czech Republic moved its notification duty from the national CHLAP register to the ECHA Submission portal on 1 January 2021 under Act No. 543/2020 Sb., and has kept the CHLAP database only as an information-support system for the Toxicological Information Centre in Prague.
Dossiers must be in Czech — the Czech Republic is on the official-language-only list — but there is no national fee and no confirmation-of-receipt wait. The Ministry of Health publishes current methodological guidance on Annex VIII notifications, updated as recently as 2025.
What to watch for in Czech Republic
- Czech language required for the dossier content.
- The Prague Toxicological Information Centre (TIS) is the operational poison centre; the Ministry of Health is the appointed body.
- MSD v14 marks the Czech entry with 'more information' — check the ministry guidance for procedural details.
