Poison centre notification in Cyprus

Cyprus closed its national notification procedure decisively: since 1 January 2021 the ECHA Submission portal is the only accepted route, and notifications made under the old national procedure lost their validity on 31 December 2024 — anything still on the Cypriot market on old paperwork had to be re-notified through the portal.
The appointed body is not a poison centre but the Department of Labour Inspection, and the notification language is Greek. There is no national fee, and no confirmation-of-receipt wait applies once the dossier passes ECHA's automated validation.
What to watch for in Cyprus
- Old national notifications expired 31 December 2024 — re-submission via the ECHA portal was mandatory.
- Greek is required; English alone does not satisfy the Cypriot requirement.
- Appointed body is the Department of Labour Inspection, not a hospital poison centre.
