Croatia is simple for PCN purposes. Dossiers go through the ECHA Submission portal in Croatian or English, there's no national fee, and the product can be placed on the Croatian market as soon as validation passes.

One older obligation sits alongside Annex VIII. Under the Croatian Chemicals Act, safety data sheets for chemicals placed on the Croatian market are also sent to the Toxicology Division of the Croatian Institute of Public Health. That's a separate national duty, and a harmonised PCN doesn't replace it. Check the HZJZ toxicology pages for the current procedure.

What to watch for in Croatia

  • Croatian or English accepted, which suits a multi-country English dossier.
  • Separate national duty: SDS delivery to the HZJZ Toxicology Division under the Croatian Chemicals Act.
  • No fee; no confirmation-of-receipt wait.
